About Me

Born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, I grew up singing in the youth choir at temple and reading voraciously. I attended Kenyon College and studied Literature and Creative Writing and went on to earn a Master of Arts degree from the University of Chicago in the Humanities before I turned my attention more fully to supporting and strengthening Jewish communities.

I worked in Jewish organizations in both Cincinnati and Chicago, and earned my MA in Jewish Professional Studies from the Spertus Institute of Jewish Life and Learning along the way. Before enrolling at HUC-JIR I served as Executive Director of K. K. Bene Israel / Rockdale Temple.

While at Hebrew Union College, I’ve pursued opportunities to develop my skills as a leader and teacher, and have been honored to be selected as a Wexner Graduate Fellow, a JDC Weitzman Fellow, and an iFellow with the iCenter for Israel Education. These fellowships have deepened my commitment to working across ideologic and geographic boundaries for the sake of global Jewish peoplehood.

I have served pulpits in Bryan, TX and Marion, OH, and am now honored to serve as the Rabbinic Intern at K. K. Bene Israel/Rockdale Temple in Cincinnati, OH.
